Team Roberts recently hosted the second in-person meeting under the Joint Development Agreement (JDA) focused on the industrial deployment of the patented ultrasonically enhanced oxidative desulfurization (uODS) technology. This was an opportunity to bring together key stakeholders from Saudi Aramco Research & Development Center (Dhahran), the Oil Sustainability Program (OSP), and Emerging Solutions Commercial Company (ESCC), a KAUST spin-off.
Participants reviewed progress, aligned on next steps, and strengthened collaboration toward scaling the KAUST-developed technology for real-world industrial applications, marking another important milestone in the journey from research innovation to commercial deployment.
